Job Title: Technical Architect You will be responsible for architecting and designing highly scalable and reliable software components for various products and systems. You will define vision and set technical direction for telecom product working with team of Architects. You will be responsible for solving tough technical problems and the design of mission critical software components using J2EE and Oracle technologies. You will be required to effectively work with, influence and drive change across teams. You will be required to keep abreast of the upcoming technologies, standards etc.
Requirements
� 12+ Years of strong technical, product development experience
� 6+ Years experience designing highly scalable, available and reliable software architectures.
� 5+ Years experience developing applications in a UNIX environment.
� 5+ Years experience developing applications using J2EE technologies.
� 3+ Years experience developing applications using the Oracle RDBMS.
� 2+ Years experience with the XML, HTML, C++ and Windows platforms
� Ability to analyze business requirements and come up with technical solutions.
� System architecture, software development and systems integration experience with UML and Object Oriented Analysis and Design techniques.
� Proven ability to inspire and motivate people around technology and vision
� Ability to apply n-tier and J2EE development technologies to solve business problems.
� Experience with Software Design Patterns and OOD Methodologies.
� A thorough understanding of database architectures, software architectures and development methodologies are required.
� Extensive experience with Oracle is a plus. Clear understanding of distributed transaction processing, middleware, security, and network communication.
� Ability to clearly address and articulate issues of reliability, scalability, and extensibility with respect to the overall solution. � Mature design skills and the ability to articulate the tradeoffs.
� Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
� Excellent problem analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution skills
� Ability to produce and review project technical documents and provide input as required.
� Good knowledge of telecommunications products, applications, protocols such as VoIP, SIP, SIMPLE, ENUM, TLS, SS7, SIGTRAN, IS41/GSM/MAP, TCAP/IN/AIN/WIN /CAMEL, H.323 preferred.
� Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education/Certification
� B.S. in Computer Science or related field
